The trip from Bangkok to Siam Reap, where Angkor Wat is located, is an adventure. You travel nearly 12 hours in crampted busses with random people. For much of the time, you’re breathing in large quantities of dust that get stirred up along the dirt road that passes for a highway in Cambodian. So why do it? Well, why not?

When Ame, Ryan, & I took that route, the road was washed out – i.e. the dirt road had a big mud pit in the middle of it. All of the passengers walked around the area via the fields while our bus slippery-slid through the pit. Why not, indeed?!?
