Trilogy was this crazy “dot-com wannabe” sort of company that was really good at throwing around tons of money strictly for the purposes of entertainment. There was alcohol, trips to Vegas, incredibly fun people and 80-hour work weeks. It was a crazy time. I’m glad I was there.
On April 21, 2001, after only 8-months of wonderful fun, they laid off myself and 100 of my closes friends. In a crazy twist of fate, they put together a pretty friggin’ incredible severance package… so we spent the summer bumming around Austin and then I travelled around the world with a good friend and a big backpack for 5 months.
Anyway, long story short… while in Cambodia, I snapped this photo of an ant.
