Shad

I was walking home from a club just now and noticed something very interesting. Basically, looking off at the horizon, it appears that sun is about to come up. The sky is just a bit lighter at the horizon… like dawn. Now, this is interesting for a couple of reasons:

1. It’s nearly 2am.
2. I’m looking due north.

I’m really pretty accustomed to the sun rising in the east and setting in the west and when it’s night, it’s dark. It’s just not like that here right now. The days are long, the sun rises and sets in the north, and the nights aren’t really very dark. What’s more, we still have another month before “the longest day”.

Crazy.
