Can you figure out the three puzzles?
Bill O’Reilly is one of the things that is wrong with America today. When I saw this commercial, I just had to laugh. Basically, this is just a long string of him telling his guests to “Shut up”. Nice to know that he’s so “Fair and Balanced”.
Gotta love that apple :) An interesting use of the iPod and a hell of a way to gain market share.
Keller Williams - an extrememly talented musician of the Bela Fleck ilk (though no banjos unfortunately).
Michael Franti - An entirely acoustic set with the barefoot one. Rolling Stone says he “picks up where Bob Marley left off”… not sure I agree, but you be the judge.
Well… it’s almost ready to be primed. I just have a bit more sanding to do and I think we’ll be ready! How exciting.
Last night was a lovely going away party for Dan and Suzanne (good luck in Boston guys!). I was also fortunate enought to meet a lovely girl named Rebecca. I’m hoping we’ll be able to get together sometime this week. Didn’t really get to know her that well, but I guess that’s the next step.
What can I say, I’m a sucker for the jugglers.
Not sure if many people know this, but as part of the deal to distribute “Fahrenheit 9/11″, Harvey and Bob Weinstein agreed to allow 60% of the profits from the movie to be distributed to charities… chosen by Disney. Interesting twist in the story of one of the most influential/hated/loved/anticipated movies in recent history.
Weddings. Simultaneously fun and excruciating. It doesn’t matter how beautiful the ceremony… how good the food… how open the bar… it’s always just a mixed bag of emotions.
Last night was no different. A lovely night overall, but a few spots where I felt exceedingly behind in life. Not only am I not married, but I’m not even close to being married… and weddings tend to be filled with people that are either married… or well on their way to being married… or children of the before mentioned married people.
On the other hand, the food was quite good and there were a lot of old friends there. James & Kerry will do well. They’ve always struck me as close friends and that seems to me as most important thing to have in a marriage.
I left early though… I couldn’t do it anymore, so I headed home. When I got here, a couple of friends were already here to greet me. Katie is moving in later this month and she and Autumn were here working on painting her room. Was nice to come home to a house full of people. Especially when I was preparing myself the whole way home to just call it a night.
